Construction site drainage handles rainwater, groundwater and standing water containing sand and silt. Single-phase Tsurumi HS / HSZ pumps are the most common choice; for higher flow, consider three-phase series such as KTZ and LH.

Tsurumi HS / HSZ single-phase construction drainage pumps are commonly used for general construction site drainage, handling rainwater, groundwater and standing water with small amounts of sand and silt. Use a low-level drainage pump for standing water on floors. Pentair Simer 6 drains down to approx. 2 mm; Simer 6S and Walrus PW100AC start and stop automatically according to water level, suitable for flood prevention in village houses and low-floor flats.
Sewage pumps use larger passages, vortex impellers or cutter impellers to pass solids with less risk of blockage. Clean-water pumps have smaller passages and are only suitable for clean or slightly cloudy water. Using one for sewage can cause blockages and damage.
