Pentair Simer 6 / 6S low-level drainage pumps
The Italian-made Pentair Simer 6 is a multipurpose low-level drainage pump. While conventional submersible pumps stop with several centimetres of water remaining, the Simer 6 pumps floor water down to about 2 mm. It suits basements, garages, laundry rooms, rooftops and plant rooms requiring thorough drainage, and emergency indoor water removal after heavy rain.
The range has two versions: the non-automatic Simer 6 pumps down to 2 mm; the Simer 6S has a built-in water-level sensor, starts when water rises and stops when it falls, pumping down to about 5 mm for unattended locations. Both have cast aluminium housings, top-mounted motors for cooling, built-in check valves to prevent backflow and replaceable cables.
Both models come in 110V and 220V versions with a standard 1-inch discharge outlet. Shun Shing stocks them at our Yau Ma Tei shop and provides parts and repairs.
