EXEN ERC12B / ERC14B 20-inch road saws

The Japanese-made EXEN ERC series comprises engine-powered road and concrete cutters designed for cutting performance, durability, rust resistance and safe operation. The safety design meets JIS standards for industrial construction, road concrete and pipe cutting.

The precision-machined cast iron chassis (cast aluminium on 12CB) provides high rigidity, a low centre of gravity and stable cutting. Main components including the blade guard, belt guard, water tank interior and handle use SUS stainless steel for rust resistance during prolonged exposure to water and slurry.

For safety, each machine has an engine stop switch at the front of the engine and another at the handle, allowing immediate shutdown when the blade approaches a worker. The belt guard prevents fingers from being caught, while lever-operated upper/lower stops avoid contact with hot engine parts. The large polypropylene water tank is independently removable and includes a hose filling port and drain valve. Water is fed centrifugally through the blade holder to reach every part of the blade, improving cooling and blade life. A single-point opening mechanism makes blade changes easy. A throttle handle and low-profile 3VX cogged belt are standard, reducing belt breakage and speed loss.
